We throughout our time in the industry come across some pretty cool stuff!...To maintain your car that is!... we come across some pretty cool stuff to!...however back to maintaining the cars thing. For all you really lucky folk driving convertibles, and having enjoyed a great summer pretty soon winter will be here and you will have to endure time with your top up. So a couple of tips for those soft tops. Most convertibles or (roadsters) "thats a cool name for Convertibles" or i think manufacturers design department's using tech words from the early 1900's trying to change the image of the convertible! which is pretty bloody silly coz it converts to a car with a roof or without...HEY !! anyway back to the maintanence tips and care thing..most convertibles have plastic rear screens which age and oxidize over time making winter time tough on the vision thing!.. all you need is some car polish some old T shirt and decent rubbing action, ladies! blokes are good for this last ingredient! a buff helps but try not to go to hard coz you can burn the plastic window caused by heat in the buff pad, with the outside done you will see a remarkable improvement but while your at it do the interior side too. Wow! you can see whats going on behind! and you can use the thing that sticks onto your windscreen (mirror). An easy fix for a pain in the rain!! not necessary on the glass ones (all you need to do is wash the car..hey! wait for winter!!) :-> quick checklist kitten or similar car polish (not cutting compond) cotton t shirt (easier if your not wearing it) decent rubbing or buff (guys dont go to hard!..slow down and take time!!) do both sides and all good... This works on all ages of perspex and you will see a great improvement in the visibility...
